Vivian Aviles, owner of Kay’s Sweets House Gourmet Bakery, spent many hours as a child cooking and baking with her grandmother. She developed a passion for creating good food and sweets for her family and friends.
She studied chemistry at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, but her love of cooking stayed with her. She went on to work in the Pharmaceutical industry for more than 15 years, but in 2011, she decided to study International Cuisine and Pastry at the San Juan Hotel School.
Kay’s Sweets House Gourmet Bakery came into being recently through Vivian’s desire to create gourmet sweets using high quality ingredients that her customers will love.
Kay’s Sweets House Gourmet Bakery offers personalized cakes, cookies, cake pops, and cupcakes. While Vivian specializes in smaller items, she also creates cakes for larger crowds, including wedding cakes, and cakes for large gatherings. “We believe in delivering quality and delicious taste for which our customers have chosen us instead of others. Let us offer you delicious sweets for any event,” she explains.
Vivian has been baking for over 20 years, and with the advent of Kay’s Sweets House Gourmet Bakery she can now fulfill her dream of owning her own business.With the COVID pandemic raging, most people will shy away from huge gatherings of any sort, but people should be able to enjoy a quality dessert once in a while.
